Korea Nutrition Index derives ingredient-selection criteria from published research and official regulatory data, then scores products identically against that public standard — taking on the burden of decoding labels so consumers don't have to.
Who runs this site, and independence
This site is operated by KNI, and advertising or affiliate arrangements play no part in grading. The weights and cut-offs are published before any product is scored — with public criteria and identical rules, the result should be the same no matter who scores. Where any product falls short of a criterion, we mark it short.
Review system
An external medical reviewer has not yet been appointed. Once appointed, their name and credentials will appear here. Until then, every efficacy or quality statement is published only with a directly verifiable source, and citations still pending source verification are labelled as such in the text.
