— what we do
Korea Nutrition Index derives ingredient-selection criteria from published research and official regulatory data, then scores products identically against that public standard — taking on the burden of decoding labels so consumers don't have to.
Ownership and conflicts of interest
KNI and EGA share ownership and management. KNI includes EGA products in its NMN comparisons, so we have a conflict of interest in that assessment. We publish the scoring weights and cut-offs, apply the same criteria to all products, and show both strengths and gaps. KNI's EGA score is our own assessment; please review the underlying evidence.
Verification policy
Every efficacy or quality statement is published only with a directly verifiable source (journal, year, PMID/DOI or an official original), and citations still pending source verification are labelled as such in the text.
Medical review
Ingredient statements are reviewed by Tak Yoon Yeong, Licensed pharmacist (College of Pharmacy, Chungbuk National University). The reviewer checks only the accuracy of the ingredient's evidence, safety, dosage and regulatory statements. They take no part in product grading (S/A/B/C), ranking or pricing. Pages that have completed review carry the reviewer's name and review date at the top of the article.
